The Excel Yoga from the Innovative name of Van Os is a new and exciting addition to the world of folding mobility scooters. Folding down to the size a suitcase, the Yoga is incredibly lightweight. At 57 lbs including the battery this is one of the lightest, complete mobility scooters around.
Being the size of a suitcase means the Yoga can actually fit into a hard carry case. We are happy to say we will provide your hard carry case ABSOLUTELY FREE! This will enable you to take the Yoga on bus trips or cruises knowing it will be protected in transit. The hard case also has a full set of wheels on the base and a telescopic handle so you can wheel the Yoga along at the train station or in the departure lounge with ease. There is also a handle on the side of the case to make it easier to load in and out of the boot or the hold.
The easy to use controls are clear and concise, comprising a battery indicator meter, and LED to show that the power is on and a high / low switch to allow you to set the speed to suit your circumstances. The tiller is easy to operate and is height and angle adjustable to ensure you find the most comfortable driving position. There is also a front wheel suspension system to iron out the bumps along the way. With safety in mind, Van Os have also added a sensor to the front wheel to slow you down if trying to turn at too high a speed.
The super lightweight lithium-ion battery weighs around 5 lbs and is easily removed. Unlike some other folding scooters, the Yoga comes with adjustable, removable armrests included at no extra cost. Clear and easy to use controls, and a smooth folding action mean the Yoga is an easy travel companion. There is also the option of an off board charging unit and a spare battery to give you ultimate flexibility. Leave the Yoga in the car and just take the lightweight battery indoors for charging, or perhaps have a spare battery for busy days out and about.
